This large-scale facade project focused on the complete exterior renovation of a commercial retail plaza. The original structure suffered from severe water leakage and dust infiltration issues. Our mission was to modernize the building’s identity while fixing all structural defects. The scope included the removal of old panels, installation of a new structural glazing curtain wall at the main entrance, and a full replacement of the building’s exterior cladding.
We engineered a high-performance Unitized Curtain Wall System using Solar Reflective Blue Glass to provide superior UV protection. For the solid areas, we installed Fire-Rated (A2 Grade) Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP). To ensure 100% weatherproofing, we utilized high-modulus structural silicone sealants specifically designed to resist the high wind pressures and sandstorms common in coastal Marina regions.
The building’s thermal efficiency was dramatically improved, eliminating previous air-conditioning loss and leakage issues. The new reflective facade gave the plaza a prestigious “Mirror Look,” making it a modern landmark in Dubai Marina. The renovation was completed ahead of schedule without disrupting the daily operations of the ground-floor retail tenants, successfully increasing the property’s overall market value and tenant satisfaction.
